Gastronomy professionals test your new products

Whether you are a start-up or an established manufacturer - with the Bonsai Professionals Box you will receive expert feedback from the catering industry before the market launch of your new product. Chefs, purchasing managers and managers from the wholesale trade receive a box with selected new products from us. They test and evaluate not only taste, preparation and packaging in their establishments. The gastronomy professionals also make concrete suggestions for product improvements, assess the potential for success on the German market and give valuable advice on pricing.

With the Bonsai Professionals Box, we put together a package of new products for proven gastronomy experts four times a year. Each product is evaluated individually after preparation and/or tasting. Bonsai Research analyses the expert feedback and provides each manufacturer with a report with the relevant insights into their product.

"From our point of view, expert opinions on the optimisation of new products are an important step on the way to market maturity," emphasises Michaela Thielen from the Bonsai test market team. The Bonsai Professionals Box adds another component to the modular system of the Bonsai Launch Pad (see below). "Further modules of the Bonsai Launch Pad can be connected to the feedback from the experts," says Michaela Thielen: "By using a real test market in the gastronomy or food retail sector, for example, we can collect real sales data, which then form the ideal basis for data-supported sales by Bonsai Sales & Food Service."
