In the face of political, social and economic upheaval, the market research industry has developed quite well on the surface. But behind the scenes, the biggest shakeout and consolidation of the market in the last 25 years is probably taking place.

Of course, every review should also have an outlook - and perhaps also good resolutions at the end of the year. What is needed in the industry? "We need more exchange, more talking to each other, more doing things together, solutions and also more compromises. In thinking and acting," says Jens Krüger: "So, get out of the echo chamber."
