- Bonsai Research brings Kim Haußer and Prof. Peter Wippermann on board
- Bonsai Research founds its own unit Bonsai Future and further expands the Foresight division.
- Kim Haußer and Prof. Peter Wippermann (both formerly of Trendbüro) are continuing the successful Bonsai future studies at Bonsai Future and launching new projects.
- "We are now bringing the successful collaboration between Bonsai Research and Trendbüro directly into our company," says Bonsai CEO Jens Krüger.
On March 1, 2024, Kim Haußer and Prof. Peter Wippermann joined the market research company Bonsai Research after years of close collaboration. Kim Haußer and Trendbüro founder Prof. Peter Wippermann will continue the successful future studies of Bonsai Research and launch new projects together with Bonsai CEO Jens Krüger. In order to strategically expand the area of foresight, Bonsai Research is founding the new unit Bonsai Future.
"With Kim Haußer and Prof. Peter Wippermann, we are now bringing the successful collaboration between Bonsai Research and Trendbüro directly into our company," says Jens Krüger: "What sets us apart from other offerings on the market? At Bonsai Future, we combine qualitative and quantitative research work with strategic consulting."
"Bonsai Future takes a proactive approach that goes beyond mere forecasting," emphasizes Kim Haußer: "We offer certainty of orientation in rapidly developing and changing markets and support companies in making qualified decisions about opportunities and challenges. I am looking forward to developing future-proof foresight strategies for companies at Bonsai Future." She will also continue to dedicate herself to one of her key topics at Bonsai , the decoding of subcultures: "We are currently living in a time of social fragmentation and polarization. It is now more important than ever for companies to find cultural connections to communities of interest. We make our customers fit for the future by helping them to decode existing communities and build their own brand communities strategically and in line with their needs."
Prof. Peter Wippermann will help drive forward the new Bonsai Future unit as a consultant. The renowned futurologist sees a differentiated picture, particularly when it comes to artificial intelligence: "AI provides valuable basic material for the development of scenarios and desk research. We see our role as Bonsai Future in particular as checking and contextualizing the AI-generated content and enriching it with real insights from surveys, co-creation workshops with our customers and expert interviews."
