FAMS: Training at Bonsai

Specialist in market and social research, or FAMS for short, is an apprenticeship that provides a practical introduction to the industry - and is fun, as the interview with our trainee Thea Blömer in planung & analyse shows.

For a long time, there was no way around university for a career in the exciting field of market research. Only since the introduction of the FAMS apprenticeship in 2006 have young people had the opportunity to enter the industry directly. Bonsai Research regularly trains new employees - and many continue to work for the company after graduation.

Thea Blömer opted for this training at Bonsai because she "wants to understand people's behavior and recognize their motives," writes planung & analyse. Would Thea Blömer choose this training program at Bonsai again? "Yes, definitely," she says in the interview and explains: "I have the opportunity to gain an initial insight into the world of work and gain experience that will help me to know what I want to do later on. From my perspective, the apprenticeship combines numbers and logical thinking with an understanding of people, which I think is great."
