Bonsai takes over the research division of VR Insight
- Bonsai Research takes over the virtual reality-supported shopper and store research of its previous cooperation partner VR Insight.
- This means that Bonsai is bringing VR and AR test market research in-house: Bonsai 's new test market is going virtual!
- Both the technology and the databases as well as existing customers and employees will be taken over.
- VR Insight's previous VR, AR and XR activities outside of market research will be continued under the new name "XR Essential".
Hamburg / Bremen, November 4, 2024. Bonsai Research has taken over the market research division of VR Insight as of November 1, 2024. With virtual reality shopper and store research, Bonsai rounds off its test market portfolio. The VR Insight brand will remain under the Bonsai umbrella.
Bonsai not only takes over the name, the technologies and the databases, but also the existing customers. The latter include Rotkäppchen-Mumm Sektkellereien, for whom Bonsai has already worked in cooperation with VR Insight. Responsible employees from product management and development programming as well as a 3D artist are also moving to Bonsai Research. VR Insight founder Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Kutter will advise Bonsai in the future.
The VR, AR and XR activities that VR-Insight previously conducted outside the market research area will be reorganized under the new name "XR Essential". Bonsai and XR Essential will continue to work closely together. This step will further sharpen their respective focus and create synergies.
