New distribution channels for krautcraft herbal teas
krautcraftproduces sustainable, high-quality and fine herbal teas and tinctures, drawing on traditional apothecary craftsmanship. The name says it all: Kraut stands for the most important raw material, the herbs; Craft for the artisanal production method. Bonsai Sales & Food Service now brings the krautcraft productsto new distribution channels.
It all began with an old recipe book. It was left behind by the grandfather of krautcraft founderDr Wiebke Friese, who still runs the pharmacy he founded. The teas are also produced there, in the Schwan pharmacy in Wilster in the Elbe marshes. Wiebke Friese runs the real family business together with her sister-in-law: their experience as pharmacists and their passion for the power of plants, coupled with Valvisa Wanikiat-Plambeck's business management know-how, form the perfect basis for krautcraft.
Blends such as "clear a.m." (good morning tea with nettle, goldenrod, verbena and lady's mantle), "serene" (with hops, St. John's wort, lemon balm, hawthorn, chamomile and rose) or "crisp" (for firm curves - with horsetail, shepherd's purse, nettle lady's mantle and orange) already sound like a pampering programme.
"It is important to us that we have everything in our own hands, from the selection of raw materials to the bottling of the finished teas & tinctures," emphasises Wiebke Friese: "Since we prefer to look after our products, we have sought support from Bonsai to open up new distribution channels for the krautcraft teasand tinctures."
"We think that the krautcraft teasfit perfectly wherever people want to do something good for themselves - for example, in wellness hotels and spas," says Kyra Thiele, who is responsible for sales to the catering trade, the hotel industry, communal catering and wholesalers at Bonsai Sales & Food Service. Those who cannot (yet) get the krautcraft productsin their wellness oasis can also order them online: kraut-craft.de
